Service and Repair

We at Action Auto specialize in all common vehicle maintenance services and vehicle repairs.

Maintenance services are preventative. The most common service is an oil change, performed every three months or 3,000 miles (whichever comes first). Our other services include tire rotation, brake and power steering installation and maintenance, and transmission fluid and coolant flushes. Over time, these fluids break down, losing the lubricants and detergents that keep your engine running smoothly. Our maintenance programs are designed to minimize problems and assure that your vehicle is always in top working condition. Click here for an oil change coupon.

Vehicle repairs are needed when a part is worn, broken, or leaking. Transmissions, engines, water pumps, timing belts, differentials, air conditioning, brakes, suspension, steering, alignment: we do it all. In many cases, the check engine light may come on, indicating a faulty sensor or system malfunction. Most repairs can be avoided by sticking to a regular maintenance schedule, which will keep your vehicle performing efficiently and extend its overall life. This will also help prevent costly breakdowns and inconvenience due to lack of transportation. Click here for a free brake inspection coupon.

Any of these symptoms may indicate the need for engine diagnostic services or repairs to your vehicle:

  • Engine light on
  • Decreased fuel efficiency
  • Pings or knocks when accelerating
  • Slow cranking
  • Rough idling

Our technicians will inspect your engine and provide you with a summary of its condition and, if needed, a repair estimate.  Engine components that may need to be serviced include:

  • Engine sensors, including: crank/cam sensor, oxygen sensor, airflow sensor, EGR sensor, MAP sensor, temperature sensor, throttle position sensor
  • Emissions
  • Fuel pump
  • Distributor cap and rotor Coil packs
  • Ignition wires
  • Ignition module

No Start Diagnosis

Our technicians can diagnose vehicles that crank properly but will not start. We determine if the cause of the problem is mechanical, ignition or induction and recommend necessary repairs.
